“Faith is universal. Our specific methods for understanding it are arbitrary. Some of us pray to Jesus, some of us go to Mecca, some of us study subatomic particles. In the end we are all just searching for truth, that which is greater than ourselves.”
Robert Langdon, the famous Harvard symbologist wakes up to a call from a Discrete Particle Physicist. Minutes later, his FAX machine started ringing and Robert picked up a FAX which nauseated him. How was it possible? The brotherhood ceased to exist. And yet, here, he was holding an image of a murderered physicist with a mysterious symbol seared into his chest.
Arriving at CERN, Vittoria was stabbed by the discovery of her dear father’s death. What was even deadly was a stolen canister which contained antimatter, a substance with destructive potential comparable to a nuclear weapon. There was less than 24 hours after which the canister would explode if not restored, back to it’s actual place back at CERN.
At the Vatican City, the Pope has passed away suddenly and now, it was time for the Conclave. But, the four Preferiti were missing. Langdon goes on a hunt for the Cardinals hoping that they sudden disappearance is somehow linked to the missing canister. They are assisted by the Camerlengo and Commander Olivetti. They have very limited time to save the world from the evil deeds of a cruel mastermind.

Will they be able to find the canister in time to save the world? Will the Cardinals be rescued? Will the world be spared from the horror of a dangerous discovery? Is the secret brotherhood still alive? Where is their operation base? Will science win? Or will religion be the victor this time?
